Sign-in guide
Access and credentials
Credentials are personal. The destination service determines which account and permissions are required.
Which credentials to use
Use the account assigned by UniMC for your profile. Some services may have specific activation rules or waiting times.
If you have more than one profile, for example as both a student and a collaborator, check the service page to see which identity is required.
- Students: use the credentials associated with your academic record and University services.
- Faculty and staff: use the institutional account assigned for work services.
- Guests and collaborators: access depends on the account and permissions activated by the responsible unit.
Sign in securely
- Open the service from the catalogue and read its guidance.
- Check the domain in the address bar and the HTTPS connection.
- Enter credentials only on the named institutional or provider page.
- Sign out when finished, especially on a shared device.
Forgotten username, expired password or locked account
Use only the official account recovery or password change procedures linked by the service. Avoid repeated attempts if they may lock the account.
If the automated process does not resolve the problem, use the support guidance and include the service name, error message and time of the attempt. Never disclose your password.
